The Junior Catholic Women's LeagueThe baby oranization of the
Catholic Women's League, Philippines, Inc. As provide for in its constitution, the the Junior Catholic Women's League aims to train young ladies for eventual membership Catholic Women's League upon reaching the age of 26.
It is charitable, religious, socio-economic, non-partisan and non-profit organization which aims to provide the youth with the experiental opportunities in total development growth. The organization aims to help young ladies to grow in faith through the sacramental traditions of our Mother church and learn essentisial service towards the fellowmen. The organization also serves as a peer group wherein the young ladies are given opportunities to widen horizons through organizing work in the community and in the parish, interacting with the people of the same age group, as well as elders within and outside of the community.
The League is especially dedicated and consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church. Its motto is CHARITY, WORK and LOYALTY.
The Junior Catholic Women's League of Santisimo Rosario Parish was established through the initiative of Sis. Didi Rabuco, then Vicarial President of the CWL Vicariate of Loreto. The induction of the first officers and members of Junior CWL was held on September 7, 1997 with Fr. Eugene Cabiloon, O.P. officiating and Sis. Nimia Pallasigui. President of the CWL Archdiocese of Manila officially welcoming them to the CWL family.
Among its regular year-long activities are the vistations of the Pediatric Malnourished Ward of the Santo Tomas University Hospital, feeding program of the children of BEC Areas of the parish, and cathechetical instruction of the parish children during summer.
