Santisimo Rosario Parish Choir
It was 1962, that choral groups began singing during parish Eucharistic Activities. In 1972, Rev. Fr. Ramon Perez, O.P., the Parish Priest, selected a group of singers and named them as the Santisimo Rosario Parish Choir or "SRPC" to serve and assist the 6:00 p.m Mass every Sunday.
There are already several Musical Directors who handled the SRPC such as Remedios dela Paz (+), Carmen Molina, Miguel Abellanosa (+), Encebrin Javier, Miguelito "Bing" Abellanosa and presently , Angelito Ayran, Jr.
The SRPC has chalked a long line of impressive achievements such as participation in the Archdiocesan Choir of Manila during the visit of Pope John Paul and the beautification of San Lorenzo Ruiz in 1981. They were also a part of the 1000 Voices Concert at CCP in 1991.
The SRPC participated in different songfest competitions. They won Second Place in the Marian Inter-Parish Songfest at our Lady of Fatima Parish at Sta. Mesa in 1985. They were the Grand Prize Winner of the Choral Popfest at UST Parish in 1990, Third place in the Boom na Boom Christmas Fest in 1993 and winner of the National Eucharistic Congress Vicariate Level Songfest in 1996.
They have been invited as Choir singers for weddings and special occasions. They were guest carolers of a prominent hotel in Manila for 10 consecutive days. The SRPC had their first major concert in 1990 at the UST Medicine Auditorium.
