Dominican LaityIn 1983, two Dominican Misioneras Sister, namely, Sr. Corazon Gamotin O.P. and Sr. Amelia Ramos, O.P. formed and organized a group of nine parishioners and made a series of meetings at the St. Dominic Development Center under the leadership of Bro. Lito Maranan, M.D and Sis. Sally Maranan. They coordinated with the Santo Domingo Chapter and subsequently accommodated six of their perpetually professed members who served as the core group of the chapter.
On August 5, 1984 the original nine members receive small scapular from Fr. Enrico Gonzales, O.P. at the Santa Catalina Chapter and after a year, the Formandis advance to the next stage of formation - the Temporary Profession
On April 29, 1988, the members were perpetually professed by Fr. Quirico Pedregoza
On December 23, 1988, the Santisimo Rosario Chapter was canonically established by Fr. Honorato C. astigador, O.P., the Prior of te Order of the Philippine Province. The chapter's patroness is the Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
The official seat of the chapter is the Saint Dominic Development Center.
The formation is an on-going activity. The Formandis comply with four hours a month study under the Perpetually Professed Formators.
